The house was founded by Homère Clément, a pioneer of Rhum Agricole production, who perfected the art of distillation from fresh sugarcane juice. Today, the rum is produced at the Distillerie Simon, which continues the legacy and philosophy of the Clément house with the utmost precision.


The Clément Rhum Ambré is made from pure, freshly pressed sugarcane juice and matures for up to twelve months in oak barrels, which gives it its characteristic amber hue and balanced aroma. In contrast to a Rhum Blanc, it is more complex and softer, while remaining lively and fresh. In terms of taste, this rum combines the natural sweetness of sugarcane with fine woody and fruity nuances.
