Made from locally grown sugarcane and distilled in column stills, Cihuatán Cinabrio 12 Años matures for at least twelve years in ex-bourbon barrels made of American white oak. The balance between sweetness, wood, and spice is finely tuned and demonstrates the high art of Central American rum production.
