The Gesellmann Bela Rex 2021, with 14.5% alcohol by volume in a 0.75-liter bottle, is a powerful, distinctive red wine cuvée from Burgenland and is one of the prestige wines of the Gesellmann winery. The wine is traditionally composed of the classic Bordeaux grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which find optimal ripening conditions on the warm, mineral-rich soils of Central Burgenland. Selective hand-harvesting, precise vinification, and careful aging in wood give Bela Rex its profound structure, aromatic complexity, and characteristic elegance for which the wine has been valued for years.
