The Penderyn MYTH Single Malt Welsh Whisky is part of the re-launched Penderyn Dragon Range, which has shaped the modern expression of Welsh whisky tradition since 2015. This bottling is non-chill filtered, non-coloured and matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon casks and rejuvenated oak casks. With these casks, the wood on the inside is sanded down and re-charred, reactivating the cask and allowing it to impart fresh aromas to the whisky. The new, lighter bottle and the revised gift box visually highlight the Dragon series while also improving its ecological sustainability.


Thanks to the special Penderyn distillation method, a particularly pure, aromatically clear distillate is produced. The MYTH is accordingly light, fruit-driven and easily accessible, without lacking structure. The symbolism of the Red Dragon, which stands for Wales and is deeply rooted in the country's history, accompanies this edition and emphasizes its cultural background.
