The Glendalough Wild Rose Gin is a delicately nuanced and at the same time aromatically complex bottling that carries a very personal story. This gin was originally created in honor of Rose, the late mother of Head Distiller Ciaran "Rowdy" Rooney, and first served at his brother's wedding. To keep her memory alive, the distillery carefully cultivated roses from her own garden, which are vapor-distilled in a particularly gentle process along with wild roses and botanicals from the mountains surrounding the distillery. This creates an intensely floral, elegant gin. After distillation, it is further macerated with rose petals, which deepens the taste and brings out the natural, delicate pink color.


This gin embodies the distinctive signature of the Irish Glendalough Distillery, known for its closeness to nature and careful craftsmanship. The combination of cultivated roses, wild botanicals, and a gentle citrus structure gives the Wild Rose Gin an expressive yet balanced profile. At 37.5% Vol., it presents itself as mild, aromatically open, and ideally suited for fresh, floral drinks. The handcrafted production and the emotional history of its creation make this gin a special addition to the range of modern, floral premium gins.
