The Mackmyra Fusion bottling creates an exciting combination of Scandinavian distillation art and characterful wine casks.


A special cask combination was chosen for this Mackmyra Single Malt Whisky. Maturation took place in Amarone wine casks and in so-called Rotspon wine casks. The term Rotspon is a historical German expression for red cask wine and traditionally refers to red wine that was transported or stored in casks. This unusual cask combination gives the Mackmyra Fusion Whisky an intense aroma with pronounced fruit notes and an elegant wine character. This Limited Edition Swedish Whisky is bottled at 47.3% Vol., non-chill filtered and without added colorants, thus fully preserving the natural character of the whisky.
