The distillery is located in a secluded and idyllic setting near the village of Tomatin and is historically closely linked to the local community. Even at its foundation, a settlement for employees was built around the distillery, making Tomatin Distillery one of the few distilleries that still offers accommodation to its craftsmen directly on site. This close connection between distillery and community continues to shape the character of the Tomatin brand.


The Tomatin Legacy is matured in a combination of Bourbon casks and Virgin Oak Casks. This cask combination gives the Highland Single Malt Whisky a pleasant, light sweetness and ensures a harmonious balance between vanilla aromas, fine spice notes and fruity nuances. The whisky is unpeated, which particularly highlights its soft and accessible character. The Tomatin Legacy is bottled at 43% and with colouring, which ensures a consistent colour.
