Shede Tuopai Six-Cereal is a traditional Chinese baijiu in the ‘strong-aroma’ style, characterised in particular by its base of six different types of grain. Tuopai uses grain from the company’s own ‘Green Grain Base’ in the production process. The recipe combines aromatic sorghum, sweet maize, wheat, glutinous rice, rice and barley. Together, these six cereals form the basis for the spirit’s characteristic, intensely aromatic style. The producer places particular emphasis on organically grown cereals that are as natural as possible. The combination of different raw materials is a key feature of this bottling and also illustrates why Tuopai Six-Cereal should be classified as a baijiu made from multiple grains rather than as vodka, whisky or liqueur.
