The Tschida Angerhof BA Beerenauslese red 2025 is an Austrian red Prädikat wine from Burgenland, blended from the Merlot, Rösler and Zweigelt grape varieties. As a Beerenauslese, it ranks amongst the high-quality Prädikat wines and combines the exceptional ripeness of the grapes used with the distinctive character of a red cuvée. The wine is produced by the Angerhof Tschida in Illmitz, whose home region on Lake Neusiedl is renowned for the production of concentrated sweet and Prädikat wines. The combination of the international Merlot variety with the well-established Austrian varieties Rösler and Zweigelt lends this red Beerenauslese an interesting stylistic foundation. With an alcohol content of just 8 per cent, the 2025 vintage also boasts a comparatively moderate alcohol level.

The vinification of the Tschida Angerhof Beerenauslese Red 2025 focuses on clear and unadulterated ageing. The cuvée is fermented in stainless steel tanks and subsequently aged in steel tanks as well, thereby completely avoiding ageing in wooden barrels. The compact 0.375-litre bottle is in keeping with the traditional use of a high-quality dessert and Prädikat wine and is ideal for sharing to round off a meal. Through its blend of Beerenauslese, Merlot, Rösler and Zweigelt, the Angerhof Tschida offers an exceptional alternative to classic white Beerenauslese wines.
