The Ferrari PERLÉ Brut Millesimato DOC 2019 is a vintage-designated Trentodoc sparkling wine from Trentino, produced exclusively from Chardonnay. The grapes come from selected, particularly suitable high-altitude vineyards in Trentino and are harvested exclusively by hand. It is precisely the mountain vineyards, with their warm days and significantly cooler nights, that create favourable conditions for the slow ripening of the grapes and a balanced ratio of ripeness to natural acidity. Following the careful harvest, vinification takes place initially in stainless steel tanks. As a Trentodoc, the Ferrari Perlè is then produced using the Metodo Classico, with a second fermentation in the bottle, which allows its characteristic structure and fine effervescence to develop. The 2019 vintage thus combines the Alpine origins of Trentino with the long-standing sparkling wine tradition of the Ferrari estate.

A particularly defining feature of the Ferrari Perlè 2019 is its long ageing period: this Millesimato spends at least 48 months on the lees in the cellars of Ferrari Trento. This extended ageing on the lees gives the Chardonnay ample time to develop additional depth and complexity. With an alcohol content of 12.5% in the 0.75 l bottle, the Ferrari Perlè is a high-quality vintage Brut sparkling wine from Italy with a distinct terroir character and ageing potential.
