Maker’s Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky, 45% ABV, 0.7 l, is a time-honoured bourbon from Loretto, Kentucky, renowned worldwide for its smooth, well-balanced character and distinctive bottle design featuring a red wax seal. Since its foundation in the 1950s, the distillery has been committed to the highest quality, artisanal production and a recipe that differs from classic bourbons.


What sets Maker’s Mark apart is its mash bill: instead of rye, red winter wheat is used as the third main grain, alongside maize and malted barley. This gives the bourbon its incomparably smooth, rounded texture and a character that is significantly less spicy, yet sweeter and more harmonious. After distillation, the whisky is matured in new, heavily charred American white oak casks, where it develops its golden colour, vanilla and caramel notes, and a subtle spiciness.


At 45% ABV, Maker’s Mark is stronger than many standard Bourbons, without losing any of its velvety smoothness. Each bottle is traditionally sealed by hand with red wax – an iconic trademark that makes it instantly recognisable worldwide.
