The maturation process of Licor 43 Original takes place over a period of six to nine months in stainless steel tanks, with the exact duration determined by the experts at Licor 43 based on the desired aroma. For fine-tuning the mild aroma, it is stored in a cold chamber at approximately -5 °C. A final microfiltration removes the smallest particles, giving the liqueur its characteristic golden color.
