Nestled between orchards and vineyards lies the historic distillery of Hödl Hof, where noble brandies have been produced for generations according to old Styrian tradition. The quality of the spirits is guaranteed by the use of a 300-liter rough still and a 200-liter fine still made of pure copper. The farm's own fruits go directly from the orchards into the fermentation cellars, where they are gently and temperature-controlled fermented. After the double distillation process, which reflects the essence of old Styrian distilling art, only the high-proof heart of the brandy is extracted. This then matures in wood, glass, or stainless steel to perfect its character.

A special highlight is the Styrian Obstler, where apples and pears are traditionally mashed and fermented together. The regional cider pears give the Obstler its mild fruitiness and a balanced harmony. The fruit comes from the traditional orchards of the region and from Hödl Hof's own orchard – a true homage to Styrian craftsmanship and love for nature.
