The Demerara Distillery in Guyana, located on the tropical north coast of South America, has been processing sugarcane since 1670. The premium brand EL DORADO has become a worldwide synonym for high-quality rum. El Dorado's blended rums are married from different vintages or batches, as well as from various stills. A combination of Enmore and Diamond Coffey Stills, the Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Still and the Versailles Single Wooden Pot Still. A 15-year maturation in selected oak barrels gives this blend its spicy-fruity character. This 15-year-old rum offered here has been awarded "Best Rum in the World" for the fourth time in a row!
