Description
Description
The Heinrich winery is located in Gols, Burgenland. It is run by Gernot and Heike Heinrich.
A great wine only comes into being when the vines feel good. The family's vineyards are located in Purbach, Breitenbrunn, Winden, Jois, Neusiedl am See, Weiden, Gold, Mönchhof and Podersdorf. Thanks to the numerous hours of sunshine around Lake Neusiedl, the grapes can fully develop and reflect this intensity in their taste.
The cult wine Salzberg is an exceptional Cuvée from a blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Blaufränkisch. Spontaneously fermented and aged for 30 months in 500-liter oak barrels, it has a breathtaking aroma of fine noble wood and cherries and is juicy, silky and salty on the palate, just as its name promises. It is an icon of biodynamic premium wine.
