After the early death of her husband, François Clicquot, in 1805, his young widow, Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, bravely took over the management of the company. Veuve Clicquot Champagne Brut Yellow Label is made from a harmonious blend of the three classic Champagne grape varieties. The cuvée consists of 56% Pinot Noir, which gives the champagne its structure and depth. 28% Chardonnay provides freshness and elegance, while 16% Pinot Meunier contributes richness and fruity notes.
