Description
The company was founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot and has since specialised in the production of champagne, with a focus on the Pinot Noir grape variety. Following the death of her husband, Francois Clicquot, just two years after their marriage, Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin took over the management of the company in 1810. In 1986, Veuve Clicquot merged with Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy. Jacques Peters is currently the company’s chief winemaker. Veuve Clicquot’s motto, both then and now, is: ‘Only one quality – the best’.
Veuve Clicquot Champagne Brut Yellow Label, a harmonious blend of 28% Chardonnay, 56% Pinot Noir and 16% Pinot Meunier, is an exquisite champagne with an ageing potential of 3–4 years.
The Yellow Label is aged for 12 months in wooden barrels. Carefully bottled and sealed with a natural cork, it guarantees a first-class tasting experience.
